3rd class reflection...
For this class, the lecture was about ASSURE Model and ADDIE Model. Basically, ASSURE Model is about:
Analyze learners
State objectives
I found out that this model is important in developing the right teaching and learning materials to be used in the classroom.
These five stages of the ADDIE model encompass the entire training development process, from the time someone first asks, "What do people need to learn?" all the way to the point where someone actually measures, "Did people learn what they needed?"
To me, The ADDIE model is a one of the systematic approach to the instructional design process, which provides teacher with a framework in order to make sure that the process of teaching and learning become more effective.

2nd class reflection...
Video Clip assignment.
The second week lecture was focusing more on the video clip assignment. The lecturer explained that in the video clip, we need to have an objective. We need to know to whom the video is made for. Besides that, she also explained video clip can be used to inform people about particular topic/things, to teach skills and also to influence people. Here, I realized that we can’t simply make a video and show it to other people but then we need to have some proper plan regarding our video. Some questions should arise when we plan to make a video such: what the main purposes of the video, who’s the target audience, is the content of the video suitable for the target audience and ect.
Storyboard
This is where it all begins. The first step is to understand what you are trying to communicate and what your intended message is. If you don't understand your message, no one will. Creating a script or storyboard will help ensure that you and your audince understand your intent.
Think of your video as a story. All good stories contain certain elements. When creating your story keep in mind the 5 W's;Who, What, When, Where, and Why. This will help you fill in the main body of your story. Additionally, there are some general terms that you should be familiar with; protagonist, antagonist, plot, setting, turning point, dialog, introduction, conclusion, narration, and points of view.
There are two main styles for laying out your story - a storyboard or a script. They each have their pros and cons. Continue on to find which one best suits your needs.
STORYBOARD
SCRIPT
The storyboard and script methods should be used in conjunction with one another. Creating a storyboard allows you to refine and examine the overall story-line. Once completed turn the storyboard in to a script. The final script will provide the detail required for the actual shooting. It will also allow the talent to view and rehearse their lines.
After listening to the tutor’s explanation regarding the storyboard then I have a brief idea what the storyboard is. Before the class end, tutors showed some examples of video created by UM student. It was short, simple and nice and the most important things is in each video that were displayed contains some useful massage to the target group. I was grateful because the tutors showed us some of the video so that it gave a clearer view on how our video should look like. Thank you so much my lovely tutors…

How you as a teacher will be learning.
How technology is going to affect and how your students are going to be learning
Moreover, students, even at the elementary school level, are able to acquire an impressive level of skill with a broad range of computer software. Although the specific software tools in use will likely change before these students enter the world of work, the students acquire a basic understanding of how various classes of computer tools behave and a confidence about being able to learn to use new tools that will support their learning of new software applications.
P.L.E.A.S.E.
This particular word was presented during the lecture of PKEY 3101 ~ Technology in Primary Education by Prof. Dr. Raja Maznah. When she asked members of the floor what the meaning of the word “PLEASE”, most of us gave the answers that associate with the polite or courteous way to ask for help or to ask for something. Hahaha… seemed that all of us gave the wrong answers because the word “PLEASE” is stand for:
~Personalize
~Environment
~And
~Student
Now I’m realized that the word “PLEASE” is not a common ‘PLEASE’ that I use in my conversation (to show politeness when asking for help, of course) To me, the definition “P.L.E.A.S.E” by Prof. Dr. Raja Maznah portrays the scope of Teaching and Learning process…Why am I say that??? The letters “P.L.E” which stands for “Personalize Learning Environment” is specially highlighted to the teacher whereby the teacher need to provide a very conducive and lively learning atmosphere for student in order for them to learn better. Plus, the letters “A.S.E” which stands for “And Student Engagement” is referring to the students whereby engagement or involvement of the student in Teaching and learning process is very crucial so that they can learn from each other. (Personally, I do believe that when students participate actively in a lesson, they would learn better.)
All in all, when the word “P.L.E.A.S.E” is concerned, it is about a vital process in Teaching and Learning which involves teacher and students so that T&L will ran smoothly and effectively…

1st class reflection...
One thing that i like most about this course is the lecturer herself. Profesor Dr Raja Maznah Raja Hussain. To me, she's a techno savvy person. Lot of things she knew especially about technology- from software to hardware- where to download this and that, what software must we use when we want to edit picture/sounds and etc.. Its all about technology.....seem dat lot of things i can learn from her...
In short, I enjoyed the first class session and i'm looking forward to the next class to learn new input plus to explore new things....
